What does the role involve?
As a Workgroup Lead, you will lead a team of around 15 motivated specialists responsible for modifying, repairing, overhauling, and maintaining our high-tech pipeline inspection equipment. Your goal is to ensure the team operates optimally, works efficiently, and delivers excellent results with high quality and reliability. This dynamic role requires strong communication skills, decisiveness, and leadership capabilities. You are the disciplinary leader of the team and report to the department manager.
Your responsibilities include
- You foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the team.
- You know how to engage employees in change initiatives, actively encourage suggestions for improvement, and ensure that agreed-upon procedures are followed.
- You are fully responsible for the team, focusing on results while supporting the personal development of team members;
- You contribute to the development and positioning of different groups within the team and/or the organization, with employee maturity at the core;
- You take initiative in organizational development and support the strategic direction of the company.
- You help clarify tasks, responsibilities, and roles within various functions;
- You discuss personal goals, assess progress, and conduct annual performance reviews with team members;
- You plan daily activities efficiently and respond to last-minute changes. You are able to improvise and find alternatives, working closely with other team members.
What you will bring
- You are a coaching leader who knows how to engage employees in shared goals and change.
- You build support, hold people accountable for their responsibilities, and know how to turn resistance into engagement.
- You are skilled at motivating people in an empathetic way, creating engagement and giving them space to grow;
- You have a bachelor-level education (HBO) in a technical or business-related field;
- You have at least 3 years of leadership experience in a similar role;
- You have an affinity for planning and organizing work;
- You are experienced with ERP systems and proficient in Microsoft Office;
- You have excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, spoken and written;
- Proficiency in German is a plus.
The provision of a certificate of good conduct (VOG) is part of the procedure. ROSEN Europe covers the costs of applying for a certificate on your behalf.
