What you can expect
For our development team in Stans we are looking for a
Mechanical Engineer (all genders welcome)
Together with a small interdisciplinary team, you will ensure the rapid implementation of customer-specific product developments. These are mainly self-propelled (robotics) as well as "free-floating" inspection equipment for oil, gas and hydrogen pipelines.
ACTIVITY:
- Development and construction of project-specific solutions of our pipeline inspection equipment
- Collaboration in the design of complete systems, subsystems, assemblies and individual parts
- Specification and evaluation of all necessary tests as well as the documentation of the projects carried out
- Creation of production-ready drawings and parts lists for in-house production
- Supporting the team in dealing with product-specific issues with regard to legislation, regulations, standards, test instructions and risk assessments
- Execution or implementation of internal tests on the test site
What you will bring

- Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics or comparable
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of design
- Sound knowledge of the use of 3D CAD systems (SolidWorks)
- Ideally experience in the field of engine and transmission design
- A broad technical understanding, a practical and pragmatic approach, and good communication skills
- Good written and spoken English, German is an advantage
