Proposal Specialist
What you can expect
The Proposal Specialist will support the Sales Managers by checking the quotation request for correctness, creating the proposals, checking them for legal compliance and feasibility & can take over the Sales Manager role for specific assigned projects.
Main responsibilities:
- Supporting sales manager in winning new business
- Executing the role “Sales Manager” within specific assigned projects or project elements
- Acting as central point of contact for and leading the proposal realization process
- Having a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements
- Exchanging information with customer, as needed, on request or in agreement with Sales Manager
- Preparation of proposals and contracts based on client and/or sales manager input
- Exchanging information/requirement changes within acquisition team/functions/roles
- Liaising with related business, operational and supporting functions/roles to ensure cost of products and services quoted are clearly defined and optimized
- Recognizing and achieving goals, initiatives and core values as defined by ROSEN
- Monitoring & ensuring proposal submission process for formatting, completeness, consistency and compliance
- Ensuring completeness and accuracy of contracts/PO’s together with Sales Manager and Legal Specialists
- Assessing project risks together with Sales Manager and Legal Specialists
What you will bring
- 3–5 years of professional experience in proposal management, quotations, business administration, sales support, or related roles
- Background in Business Administration or Engineering; other related fields may be considered
- Good technical understanding, with ability to structure proposals based on inputs received from technical and commercial teams
- Experience or familiarity with oil & gas / offshore environments is a strong plus
- Basic commercial knowledge;
- Ability to understand what is relevant and critical within a proposal
- Strong communication skills, including interaction with international stakeholders
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Analytical, organized, and detail‑oriented profile
- Team‑oriented mindset, able to integrate into a well‑established team
- Curiosity and willingness to learn the company portfolio and technologies
- Available to work in a hybrid work model
