As a member of the Rosen Data team, you will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a flexible work schedule, and use independent judgment and reasoning.
Detailed duties include:
• The performance of daily tasks, and in cooperation with other department process functions, execute and enforce all aspects of the Data Analysis process per company policies and procedures.
• Receive pipeline In-line inspection data, check for quality and quantity using proprietary software, procedures and specifications.
• Pre-process data and assess its quality using graphics generated from the recorded data. Prepare data for analysis using proprietary software according to company procedure, with emphasis on optimizing parameters for accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform data analysis assessing regions of interest and reporting finding to clients.
Requirements
Qualifications or Skills Required:The successful candidate should have the minimum qualifications and/or skills:
• 1-3 years of related data analysis experience is required (analysis of visual/graphical data).
• Previous experience analyzing pipeline inspection data is preferred.
• Bachelor of Science or related post-secondary degree is preferable.
• General computer skills – familiarity working with network directory structures and ability to learn new software applications easily.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills – ability to work well within a team environment.
• Ability to be consistent and thorough when checking and preparing data, as well as in daily tasks.
• Able to perform routine tasks for extended period of time.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
• Quality minded, detail oriented with a customer focus.
• Ability to travel if required.
• Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and easily
• Excellent organization skills are required
• Consciousness for prompt completion of work tasks

• Must currently reside in the Calgary region.
