What you can expect

As a Project Manager for the Engineering department you will plan and manage the complete project execution in accordance with the customer’s expectations. The Project Manager is responsible for leading project teams to deliver contracted scope of work that span across one or more business lines.

Main responsibilities:

  • Achieving the project objectives with respect to its agreed scope, budget, schedule and quality
  • Reviewing the scope of work, legal and commercial terms and conditions
  • Executing the project in line with customer's expectations, HSE rules, corporate guidelines, processes, policies, governance and the law
  • Creating the work break down structure, define and sequence the activities
  • Estimating resource requirements incl. duration and developing the master schedule
  • Acquiring the project team through Resourcing departments, optimal for the given scope of work
  • Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals
  • Establishing communication to project team and customer on a regular base
  • Identifying and analyzing project risks, monitor and control those risks
  • Monitoring and controlling project work, schedule and budget
  • Managing project invoicing and cash flow
  • Identifying and managing changes during project execution
  • Approving final project deliverables
  • Identifying and communicating additional sales opportunities
  • Administering the contract and closing the project
  • Ensuring completeness of project documentation
  • Documenting lessons learned and best practices

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably within the Oil & Gas, engineering, consulting, or industrial sectors.
  • Experience managing technical projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Basic technical and operational understanding of engineering services and solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, timelines, and project deliverables.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency (mandatory)
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • Previous experience in consulting companies, engineering firms, or operators is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with limited structure and changing priorities.
  • High level of adaptability, ownership, and accountability.
  • Experience supporting production planning, resource coordination, and project execution is an advantage.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model (3 days per week in the office in Vargem Pequena)
