Field Service Technician Pipeline Inspections (Inline)

What you can expect

For our office in Oldenzaal, head office ROSEN Europe B.V. we are looking for a Field Service Technician to strengthen our Field Operations team. As a Field Service Technician for our Inline Inspection division, you prepare and perform pipeline inspections at customer’s location in Europe
 
Our customers mostly consist of major players within the petrochemical industry. ROSEN is the professional for cleaning and inspection of pipelines systems to ensure the integrity of valuable assets. Our expertise lies in performing inspections with our in-house developed inspection equipment, which will lead to an extensive report on the integrity of the object.
 
Suitable candidates have besides good technical knowledge, a flexible and customer orientated attitude. After internal training, you can carry out inspections using ROSEN inspection tools & equipment in both onshore and offshore environments. In addition to carrying out the fieldwork, you and your team take care of onsite reporting. Also, you are able to carry out maintenance and minor repairs to inspection equipment yourself.

Your responsibilities

  • Timely onsite preparation of inspection tools and associated equipment;
  • Verify the given tool specifications versus the operation conditions;
  • Setup, check and initialize the inspection tools prior to launching;
  • Launching and receiving the inspection tool in accordance with client’s specifications;
  • Checking data quality and completeness;
  • Assessing tool condition, report any damages;
  • Maintenance and repair of inspection equipment and accessories;
  • Preparing for demobilization of equipment and accessories;
  • On-site customer communication;
  • Creating reports on work progress, tool data and conditions, and onsite daily activities.

What you will bring

  • Technical knowledge and affinity with electrical/mechatronics (Mechanics, Electronics);
  • 1 – 3 years working experience (pigging background and knowledge of inspection and pipeline technologies are a plus);
  • An independent, flexible, and customer-orientated attitude;
  • Work in compliance of QHSE policies and standards;
  • Good organizational and time management skills;
  • Knowledge of computers and MS-Office;
  • Willing to travel around 180 days per year;
  • Good communication skills written and spoken in English (Dutch, German, or other languages are a plus);
  • Driver’s license B (BE preferable);
  • VCA / SSC certificate (preferable).
A Certificate of Good Behavior is a mandatory requirement for employment at ROSEN, and we will reimburse the costs associated with the application for this certificate.
