Senior Integrity Engineer

Due to our continued growth, we require a Senior Integrity Engineer to join our Engineering Department for region Europe to work with engineers and technicians at all levels, and from other disciplines within the business, on commercial client projects as well as internal R&D initiatives.
 
The Integrity Engineer provides mainly pipeline integrity services, with specialization in risk, or crack management, by engaging with industrial clients to understand their need and by applying industry-leading standards and practices.
 

What you will bring

Skills Required:
  • At least 5 years of experience in asset integrity and pipeline industry;
  • Competent at interpreting and applying relevant industry codes and standards;
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a related discipline;
  • Excellent Technical Report writing skills;
  • Excellent communicator experienced in delivering technical presentations, effectively managing & co-ordinating small project teams;
  • Self-starter with demonstrable complex problem solving capabilities;
  • An excellent level in English and Dutch.
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Working knowledge of pipeline integrity / data management systems;
  • Background in inspection, assessment and maintenance of pipelines / pipework;
  • Basic understanding of pipeline inspection technologies, including in-line inspection and ultrasonic wall thickness measurement;
  • Good understanding of the pipeline integrity business, specific knowledge on risk assessments, hydrogen and other future fuels is advantageous;
  • Condition assessment of pipelines / pipework, including working knowledge and practical experience of integrity assessments according to industry recognised guidance such as API 579 / ASME FFS1, RSTRENG, DNV RP F101, DVGW, DIN etc.;
  • Knowledge of crack assessment and crack management processes and methodologies;
  • Working in small teams, remotely, internationally and interdisciplinary.
