Due to our continued growth the field of Integrity Management and related software, our Integrity Solutions Business Line (UK office in Newcastle upon Tyne) requires a Software Programmer to work with engineers and experts from other disciplines within the business on a variety of client projects as well as internal R&D initiatives.

• Contribute to definition and execution of software / programming requirements to help project teams meet all objectives
• Point of contact for programming requests from both internal and external clients
• Run internal and external presentations if required on project status and requirements
• Testing and validation of new software
• Giving software training to both internal and external groups if required
• Providing continuous support, including writing supporting documentation where required, to ROSEN staff in the UK and other regions


• Excellent communication skills and adaptability
• Degree in Computer Science or other relevant discipline
• Proven Python Scripting skills
• Experience with relevant Web programming frameworks : preferably Javascript, HTML5, CSS, AJAX and ASP.NET would be desirable but not essential
• Knowledge in User Interface Design as well as in database programming are an advantage
• Working knowledge in the area of technical product support for software, as well as quality assurance processes, is also an advantage
• Ability to establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, including international colleagues
• Knowledge of, or experience in, an engineering field / role would be advantageous
