GIS Engineer

Due to our continued growth the field of Integrity Management and related software, our Integrity Solutions Business Line (UK office in Newcastle upon Tyne) requires a GIS Engineer to work with engineers and experts from other disciplines within the business on commercial client projects as well as internal R&D initiatives.


• Definition and implementation of applications for spatial data processing and visualization in desktop and web environments
• Contribute in definition and execution of software quality assurance activities for spatial software tools
• Point of contact for technical support requests in regards of spatial software solutions for internal and external clients
• Run internal and external product presentations


• University degree in Geoinformation Software / Science, or other relevant discipline
• Demonstrable experience with ESRI ArcGIS Server installation and configuration of Web Services
• Experience with relevant Web programming frameworks : preferably Javascript, HTML5, CSS, Python, C# and ASP.NET
• Knowledge in User Interface Design as well as in database programming are an advantage
• Working knowledge in the area of technical product support for software products, as well as quality assurance processes, is also an advantage
