SOFTWARE TESTER

Description

RTRC Colombia, based in Bogotá, Colombia seeks to employ a Software Tester for challenging software products for the Energy industry. The main responsibilities of a Software Tester are:

• To contribute with the coordination and definition of the test strategy aligned with the project plans.
• To contribute with the automation tests plans according with the project goals.
• To analyze, review and evaluate the business requirements, specifications and models.
• To design and execute test scenarios in order to evaluate the expected results.
• To report performance metrics to evaluate the test progress.
• To implement and execute tests at all levels registering and evaluating the results.
• Test environment preparation.
• Documentation of test results and test coverage.
• Reporting And Monitoring Bugs reported by automation outcomes(TFS bug report preferred).

Requirements

• Engineer or related bachelor degree
• 3+ Years of relevant experience on Test Process.
• Understanding of software requirements engineering.
• High understanding on software testing, concepts, practices and lifecycle.
• High level of knowledge on Test Automation (Coded UI test preferred).
• Programming skills
• Quality Oriented
• Team work
• Good written communication skills in native language and English.

Preferred but not required
Knowledge in the following tools: TFS, Microsoft Test Manager, SOATest, Microsoft visual Studio, Microsoft SQL server and Microsoft Office.
