Legal Counsel



Legal Counsel is a member of the Legal & Compliance Department and responsible to make sure that Rosen Europe B.V. is conducting its business in compliance with the respective national and international laws and regulations, whereas she/he continuously develops and standardizes internal policies and guidelines in accordance with best practice and legal standards. In addition, Legal Counsel is responsible for negotiating, reviewing, researching and executing a wide variety of agreements for ROSEN Europe B.V. and its stakeholders. Align with the ROSEN Group's focus to mitigate legal and reputational risks, she/he helps stakeholders to evaluate such risks and provides adequate risk management solutions.

Responsible for:
  • Providing legal support to ROSEN Europe B.V and its stakeholder, in regards to various complex topics and areas of law and compliance (e.g. contract law, corporate law,insurance law, anti-corruption, anti-competition, data protection);
  • Providing legal and compliance advice on a wide range of issues;
  • Handling of negotiations with clients;
  • In-house counselling with an interdisciplinary and commercial approach;
  • Negotiating, drafting, reviewing independently agreements and other legal related
  • documents (non-standard and standard legal documents);
  • Keeping abreast of legislative changes that may affect ROSEN Europe B.V. and/or its potential new businesses;
  • Ensuring legal objectives are met within interdisciplinary projects;
  • Advising on contract status and be on top of any legal deadlines;
  • Assessment of Risk Management;
  • Executing legal activity according to company expectations (e.g. corporate housekeepings),
  • guidelines, processes, policies and laws;
  • Performing pre-litigation work to minimize risks and maximize legal rights and liaise with external counsel;
  • Providing training to respective units on substantive legal topics;
  • Providing support to other legal and compliance team members.


  • Law degree;
  • 1-3 years of post-qualification experience;
  • Good understanding of corporate matters, commercial law, compliance and associated fields of law;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is an added advantage;
  • Living within a driving distance of max. 1 hour from our location in Oldenzaal.​
