Principal Engineer - Field & Test Engineering

DescriptionDue to our continued growth, our UK Integrity Management office in Newcastle Upon Tyne requires a Principal Engineer to lead complex and high value field and test consultancy scopes within laboratory, field and workshop environments and provide engineering consultancy to clients and internal groups within ROSEN.
The role will involve working with engineers, managers and technicians at all levels and from other disciplines within the business on commercial client projects and R&D initiatives. The nature and volume of projects coming into the business ensures a challenging technical environment to continue personal development, and the multinational ROSEN Group provides significant opportunity for progression and international travel.
RequirementsMinimum of 10 years Integrity Management background across one or more engineering disciplines / technical areas
Significant experience working directly with customers and a proven track record in developing business within relevant engineering fields
Demonstrable history of design, execution and interpretation of complex testing programs
Demonstrable experience of working in a operational environment
Solid knowledge of relevant codes, standards and best practices
Ability to lead and provide technical supervision and direction whilst junior team members perform the bulk of tasks.
Strong Project Management capability and experience
Creative problem solving mentality
Comprehensive understanding of practical QHSE requirements and importance of adherence to all procedure
Ability and adaptability to maintain involvement in workshop / site work in addition to desk based consultancy across multiple projects when required
Willingness and ability to mentor and develop other engineers
