Senior Reliability Engineer
DescriptionDue to our continued growth and diversification, our UK Integrity Management office in Newcastle Upon Tyne requires a Senior Reliability Engineer to work with engineers and technicians at all levels and from other disciplines within the business on commercial client projects as well as internal R&D initiatives.
5-10 years’ experience providing engineering or maintenance support in an operating environment
Strong background in identifying problems then developing and implementing solutions based upon either established methodologies or novel approaches
Experience of facilitating workshops, possibly as a first interaction with a client
Able to problem solve and fault find through structured analysis and self-directed learning
Development of technical policies, standards and procedures
Solid knowledge of relevant codes, standards and best practices
An excellent communicator with a track record in delivering technical presentations and developing reports
Ability to work closely and effectively with both internal and external clients
Support the development of business within a relevant engineering field though client engagement
Educated to a minimum of degree level in a relevant engineering discipline
Experience within a highly-regulated industry e.g. COMAH, Pharmaceutical
Experience of development and implementation of reliability and integrity management systems
Experience of working with, or leading studies of, established methodologies such as reliability centred maintenance (RCM), root cause analysis (RCA), risk based inspection (RBI), functional safety (IEC 61508/61511)
Experience of leading a project team
Experience of working with integrity or asset management software systems
Development of Technical and Commercial Proposals
Membership of a Professional Engineering Institution
