Registration/Expression of Interest for Integrity Engineer

Kuala Lumpur

Description

Responsible for Including but not limited to:
  • Using knowledge of Pipeline Integrity, industry standards, and available ILI and other data to produce technical reports and other deliverables for clients
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards and legislation
  • Checking of engineering calculations in their own work and the work of others
  • Presentation of data using spreadsheets and other software
  • Supporting Technical and Commercial Leads in succesful delivery of projects to external and internal clients
  • Effective communication with management and other engineers
  • Assisting with ensuring compliance with all Company and where appropriate client QHSE policies and procedures
  • Supporting business development, sales, technical leads and other engineers in conducting client visits where appropriate
  • Supporting Workgroup Lead with technical and performance review and training and mentoring of junior engineers where required
  • Generating ideas for new products and services and contributing to their development
Authority about       
  • Managing individual workload and review / QA of other engineer’s work
  • Taking responsibility for own development and assisting with that of more junior engineers

Requirements

Delivery to                
  • Client - defined and agreed deliverables with necessary project status reporting directly to client
  • Internal stakeholders - working with other engineers and departments
  • Management - reporting directly to Workgroup Lead and Department Manager where required
Information to         
  • Department Management - report directly to and share relevant information with Workgroup Lead / Engineering Office Manager on project and non- project related issues
  • Other Department Manager(s) or WorkGroup Leads if and when required on larger or more complex projects
  • Team members – all necessary information about group, project or individual issues to colleagues if and where required
  • Client, and other external stakeholders where required
Support from           
  • Engineering Office Manager - department / individual issues
  • Workgroup Lead, Process Professionals, colleagues - technical guidance
  • HR – individual issues and support
  • IT - for issues with personal computer or software
  • QHSE - Quality, Health, Safety & Environment
  • Finance - project related and/or support with payroll and expenses
  • Sales & Marketing - Business Development support
  • TED - Training requirements
