Test Facility Manager

Description

Due to our continued growth, ROSEN UK requires an experienced individual to manage our exciting new Testing Facility at Brunswick, Newcastle Upon Tyne, managed within our Integrity Services Business Field. The role requires management of the facility to maximise uptime whilst supporting the engineering and management teams to develop new experimental and testing facilities for clients, projects and programs.
 
The role will involve working with engineers and technicians at all levels and from other disciplines within the business on commercial client projects as well as internal R&D initiatives.

Responsibilities:
 
Develop the operations team to support the on-site business activities
Build and develop future infrastructure to ensure an efficient site.
Control and co-ordinate the operations & facilities budgets.
Manage site Health and Safety along with necessary Standard Operating Procedures.
Promote innovative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives.
Plan, introduce, and implement required processes where required

Requirements

Educated to HNC Level or above in a related discipline
Commercial operations management experience within a technical environment.
Experience in managing teams and line management development and growth.
Experience of change management and business process improvement.
Previous experience working in a Testing or Workshop environment
Exceptional team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to reflect, learn from mistakes and respond positively to feedback.
Flexible and analytical approach to work.
Capability to work autonomously and make considered decisions.
