Senior NDT Technician



Due to our continued growth, our UK office in Newcastle upon Tyne requires a Senior NDT technician to work with engineers and technicians at all levels and from other disciplines on commercial client projects and internal R&D initiatives.

The role is client facing and will be involved in business development and the analysis and detailed reporting of NDT findings as part of larger project teams.


At least 4 years of experience working on-site directly with customers
Excellent knowledge of relevant codes, standards and best practices
Ability to work closely and effectively with both internal and external clients
Qualified to minimum PCN Level II in VT, MT and UT or equivalent
Phased Array Qualification(s)
Experience in writing basic technical reports
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and basic IT systems / software
The candidate shall be self-starting and have a desire to develop their expertise within a technical consultancy
Experience in managing and developing small teams of technicians
Able to review NDT procedures and specifications
Experience in reviewing customer requirements and developing appropriate procedures
History of business development and building strong client relationships
