HR/Payroll Administrator

We also recognize that our employees have different needs and we want to make sure they are being taken care of.  Due to our rapid growth, we are currently seeking a qualified HR/Payroll Administrator to join our Human Resources team for a temporary term of one (1) year, starting mid January 2018, with the posibility of extension or transition to permanent full-time.

Requirements

Detailed duties include:

• Full Cycle Payroll processing including year-end administration (ADP and SAP Payroll);
• Data entry and maintenance of information within several department specific software programs (SAP HR, SAP Payroll, Time system, ADP, Travel software etc.);
• Recruitment related administration;
• Group benefit plan administration;
• Visitor Travel administration;
• Various monthly reconciliation and reporting;
• Human Resources related intranet administration;
• Facilities related duties as required;
• Event planning related duties as required;
• HSE related duties as required;
• Back-up for Reception as required.

Qualifications or Skills Required:
The successful candidate should have the minimum qualifications and/or skills:

• 3-5 years of Payroll experience is required.
• Related Post-Secondary education (Payroll Certification) is required.
• Proven Payroll expertise is required. Experience with SAP Payroll and/or Pay @ Work (ADP) payroll software is an asset.
• Superior computer skills are required including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other Human Resources related software.
• Superior English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to provide superior administrative support to employees, management and contractors.
• Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and handle multiple priorities and unexpected changes with professionalism.
• Ability to proactively problem-solve.
• Strict attention to detail is required.
• Excellent internal and external customer relations skills.
• Work independently, as well as within a team, in a fast paced, customer service driven team environment.
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
